Modern CNC machine tools require flexible spindle speed, stable torque and fast dynamic response for precision milling, drilling and engraving. Variable frequency drives are the core control unit for high‑speed spindle motors.
For a vertical machining center of a precision workshop, the vector VFD was adopted to drive the high‑speed spindle. The speed ranges from 100 rpm to 24000 rpm for roughing and finishing processes. After upgrade, part surface quality was improved, tool wear was reduced and machine downtime decreased greatly.
Our spindle‑specific inverters cover a full power range for milling machines, lathes, engraving machines and gantry machines. Custom parameter setting and on‑site technical support are available for machine builders and retrofitting partners.
